Separate Yourself From the Rest

Colleen Francis:

If you want to be the best, you must do things that mediocre salespeople are not willing to do. It often takes more effort, but what you will gain from going the extra mile is invaluable.
It’s not just about your sales results.

    • Have a good attitude. It’s too easy to get wrapped up in office politics and lose focus on your work. Always ben genuinely supportive of you team and colleagues.
    • Try new things. Do something productive that you haven’t previously attempted.
    • Find solutions to problems. Most problems can be solved with some brainstorming and an extra effort.

It’s easy to focus strictly on hitting your sales numbers, which can be detrimental to achieving future goals. See the big picture. Sometimes finding solutions to problems can be better than crossing off items on your to-do list. It will make you a more productive sales person in the long run.
