There Is No Such Thing As Time Management
You can’t manage time. You can’t find any additional hours. You don’t have any more time in a day, a week, a month, or a year than anyone else. There is only one thing that needs to be better managed for you to produce the results you want, and that one thing is you. Welcome to Me Management.

To make the most of your time, you have to ruthlessly prioritize. You have to make decisions about who and what is most important to you. Your calendar has boundaries because time has boundaries (I know science doesn’t support this, but it feels this way to us humans). You have to decide who and what goes on your calendar, and so you are forced to decide who and what doesn’t make it into any of the little blocks of time indicated on your calendar.

The decision as to who and what doesn’t command your time is every bit as important as the decision as to who and what does.
“I never have enough time.”  Those five words seem to be uttered by everyone we meet, no matter their profession, their beliefs, or their background.  We never have enough time.  And though there’s not much we can do to add to the hours of our day, what we can do is prioritize.  It’s time to step out of the mindset that we can manage our time, and shift it to begin thinking about our time differently.  Prioritizing the important things, while coming to terms with the fact that there will be some days where you just won’t get everything done that you wanted.  The road ahead is long, and you do have time.  You just need to learn to prioritize to make the most of it.
